Opening the Truss and Creating a Study

Browse to drive letter:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS version\samples\Simulation Examples\Beams\Beam_Truss.SLDPRT and open the file.
This part uses custom profiles for its structural members. If you edit the definition of the structural members, the Standard and Type boxes are empty.
Click New Study (Simulation CommandManager).
Under General Simulation, click Static .
In the PropertyManager, under Name enter Truss for name.
Click .

Search 'Opening the Truss and Creating a Study' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
