Applying Surface to Surface Radiation

The LiquidJet component radiates heat to the inner face of the shield through surface-to-surface radiation.

1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Thermal Loads folder and select Radiation .
   The Radiation PropertyManager appears.
2. Set Type to Surface to surface.
3. In the graphics area, click the inner face of the shield and the face of the liquid jet as shown in the figure.
   
4. Under Radiation Parameters, do the following:
   1. If necessary, select Open system.
   2. Select C (Celsius) as the unit for temperature then type 30 in the Ambient Temperature value box.
   3. Set Emissivity to 1 (black body).
