Applying Forces that Secure the Grip

In the Simulation study tree, right-click External Loads and select Force .
In the graphics area, select the two faces shown in the figure for Faces and Shell Edges for Normal Force .
Set Unit to SI
Select Normal and set Force Value to 40 N.
Click .

A 40 Newton force is applied to each face. These forces are assumed adequate to secure the grip.
