  1. Browse to drive letter:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS version\samples\Simulation Examples\Dynamics\Circuit_Board.SLDASM and open the file.
  2. Click the Frequency study tab.
  3. Right-click the Frequency study in the Simulation study tree, and select Copy Study.
  4. In the Copy Study PropertyManager:
    1. For Target Study, click Linear Dynamic, and select Random Vibration.
    2. For Study name, type Random Vibration for the new study.
    3. Click OK.
The Random Vibration study tab is created at the bottom of the graphics area.
When you copy a source frequency study to a target dynamic study, the material properties and restraints of the frequency study are copied to the new dynamic study. If results exist, they are also copied.
