Defining Contact Conditions To define a contact set: In the SOLIDWORKS Simulation study tree, right-click the Connections icon and select Local Interaction. In the PropertyManager: Under Interaction, select Manually select local interactions. Set Type to Contact. Click inside the Faces, Edges, Vertices for Set 1 box , then select the outer cylindrical faces of the pipe as shown in the figure below (2 faces).
