Defining a Shrink Fit Interaction

You define a shrink fit interaction between the outer face of the inner ring and the inner face of the outer ring.

1. Explode the assembly to reveal the overlapping faces if not already done.
   
2. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Connections and select Local Interaction .
3. In the PropertyManager, set Type to Shrink Fit.
4. Click inside the Faces, Edges, Vertices for Set 1 box , then click the outer face of the inner ring.
   
5. Click inside the Faces for Set 2 box , then click the inner face of the outer ring.
   
6. Click .
