Defining the FCenter and FSide Parameters

Next, you define the FCenter and FSide parameters as expressions of the FTotal parameter.

1. On the Table View tab of the hanger design study, in Variables section, select Add Parameter.
2. In the Name field, type FCenter.
3. Under Category, select Simulation.
4. Under Value, click to add an expression:
   1. In the Expression field, type FTotal/3.
   2. Click .
5. In the Name field, type FSide.
6. Under Category, select Simulation.
7. Under Value, click to add an expression:
   1. In the Expression field, type FTotal/6.
   2. Click .
8. Click Apply and OK.
   It is recommended to set the value of the parameters you use in expressions in the SI unit system.
