Defining the FTotal Parameter

As the variables in a Design Study require parameters, you can define the parameters and use them as variables using the Design Study interface.

The parameters are defined in the example file. To follow the procedure below, either delete the pre-defined parameters in the Parameters dialog box, or give the new parameters unique names.

Right-click the Ready study tab and select Create New Design Study.
Rename the design study as hanger.
On the Table View tab of the Design Study, in Variables section, select Add Parameter.
In the Parameters dialog box, under Name, type FTotal.
Under Category select Simulation.
Under Value, type 120.
Click OK.

Search 'Defining the FTotal Parameter' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
