Defining a Section Plot

Stress linearization separates bending and membrane stresses for solid mesh models. You must first define a section stress plot.

1. Right-click in the graphics area and select Section clipping .
2. In the PropertyManager, select Front Plane for Reference entity.
   The axis of the vessel lies on the default cutting plane. The von Mises stress is shown in psi.
