Listing the Average Radial Displacement In the Simulation study tree, right-click Displacement2 (-X disp-) in the Results folder and select Probe . In the PropertyManager under Options, select On selected entities. Under Results: Select the outer face of the inner ring for Faces, Edges, or Vertices . Click Update. Under Summary, the average radial displacement is -0.424 inches. Delete the current selection in Faces, Edges, or Vertices, and select the inner face of the outer ring. Click Update. Under Summary, the average radial displacement is 0.325 inches. Click . The sum of the absolute values of the average radial displacements is approximately 0.425+0.325 = 0.75 inches. This is equal to the interference of the two rings (0.75 inches.) The radius of the inner ring after fitting is approximately 22 - 0.425 = 21.575 inches, and the radius of the outer ring after fitting is 21.25 + 0.325 = 21.575 inches.
