Defining Mesh Control and Meshing the Model Due to the fine details at the end of the male component's arm, you define smaller local element size by defining a mesh control. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Mesh and select Apply Mesh Control. In the PropertyManager: Select the faces of the male component shown in the figure below for Selected Entities (5 faces). Under Mesh Parameters, set the Unit to in and then type 0.05 in the Element Size box . Click .The program creates the mesh control and a representative icon appears inside the Mesh folder.
