Viewing Results

  1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Fixtures and select Hide All to hide the restraint symbols.
  2. Right-click External Loads and select Hide All to hide the load symbols.
  3. Open the Results folder.
  4. Double-click Stress1 (-vonMises-) to display the plot.

    If the plot does not exist, create the plot using one of the methods in steps 5, 6, or 7.

  5. Optional: To add a plot:
    1. Right-click the Results folder and select Define type of plot Plot.
    2. Set the options in the PropertyManager and click .
  6. Optional: To add a von Mises stress plot using English units for a static study:
    1. Right-click the Results folder and select Define Stress Plot .
    2. Under Display, select VON: von Mises Stress in Component .
    3. Under Display, select psi in Units .
    4. Click .
  7. Optional: To add a thermal plot displaying temperature in Celsius for a thermal study:
    1. Right-click the Results folder and select Define Thermal Plot .
    2. Under Display, select TEMP: Temperature in Component .
    3. Under Display, select Celsius in Units .
    4. Click .
  8. Right-click the plot icon and select Edit Definition.
  9. In the PropertyManager under Display, set Units to psi and click .
