Manipulating Views

You can modify views in several different ways when you are working with models. By using the Heads-Up View toolbar, Standard Views toolbar, and Shortcut Bar, you can manipulate parts, assemblies, and drawings in the graphics area.

The Heads-Up View toolbar contains the common tools required for manipulating the view, and displays as a transparent overlay in each viewport. You can customize the Heads-Up View toolbar.

The Standard Views toolbar has tools to orient the part, assembly, or sketch. It lets you view the model or drawing through one, two, or four viewports. You can float and dock the Standard Views toolbar in various locations.

The Shortcut Bar lets you quickly access commonly used commands with minimal mouse movement. When you are working in the graphics area, you can use the S key to display the Shortcut Bar. You can customize the Shortcut Bar.
