Adding Draft to the Grip You add draft to taper the grip, giving it an aesthetically pleasing design in the finished part. Click Dimetric on the Heads-up View toolbar. Click Draft on the Features tab. In the PropertyManager: Click Manual. Select Neutral plane in Type of Draft. The neutral plane is the plane or face that you choose to determine the pull direction when creating a mold. The Z axis direction of the neutral plane is the direction in which the part ejects from the mold. Set Draft Angle to 10°. In the upper left corner of the graphics area, expand the FeatureManager design tree and select the Right Plane for Neutral Plane. Click in Faces to Draft, then select the three faces shown. Click to create the drafts. Click File > Save to This PC. In the dialog box, for File name enter Knob.SLDPRT, then click Save.
