Activating a Standard

You can make a standard the current standard for a drawing by activating it. The current standard is used as the default standard in the Standard drop-down list of the Toolbox - Hardware and Toolbox - Holes dialog boxes.

The active standard appears at the top of the Toolbox - Standards dialog box.

To activate a standard:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the ribbon, click Mechanical Content > Manage > Standards.
    • On the Mechanical toolbar, click Standards .
    • On the menu, click Mechanical Content > Standards.
  2. In the dialog box, select a standard from the Basic standards or Custom standards list.
  3. Click Activate.

    The standard appears as the Active standard.

  4. Click Close.
