Working with the Mechanical Layers Manager

Use the AM_Layer command to manage layers and Mechanical layer definitions.

The command displays the Mechanical Layers Manager dialog box.

To manage Mechanical Layers:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the ribbon, click Home > Layers > Mechanical Layers Manager.
    • On the menu, click Format > Mechanical Layers Manager.
    • Type AM_Layer.
  2. In the Mechanical Layers Manager dialog box, you can :
    • Create new layers
    • Delete layers and Mechanical layer definitions
    • Rename layers and Mechanical layer definitions
    • Change layer properties
    • Add layer descriptions

  3. Click OK.

Note: You can use the AM_Layer command transparently.

Access

Command: AM_Layer

Menu: Format > Mechanical Layers Manager

Ribbon: Home > Layers > Mechanical Layers Manager
