Working with the Layergroup Manager

You can group sets of mechanical layers. Mechanical layers are layers that the application automatically creates on the fly. Once you have created layer groups, you can control their visibility enhancement.

Use the AM_Layergroup command to manage layer groups and layer properties.

The command displays the Layergroup Manager dialog box.

To manage layergroups:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the ribbon, click Home > Layers > Layergroup Manager.
    • On the menu, click Format > Layergroup Manager.
    • Type AM_Layergroup at the command prompt.
  2. In the Layergroup Manager dialog box, you can :
    • Create layergroups
    • Delete layergroups
    • Rename layergroups
    • Change layergroup properties
    • Move enties from one layergroup to another
