Exiting Sketches

You can exit a sketch when you create a feature from a sketched profile. For example, when you extrude a base, a boss, or a cut from a sketch.

• Click Rebuild (Standard toolbar) or click Edit > Rebuild.
• Click Exit Sketch on the Sketch toolbar
  Not available for 3D sketches.
• Click Insert > Exit Sketch .
  For 3D sketches, click Insert > 3D Sketch .
• Right-click to open the context toolbar and select Exit Sketch .
• Click Exit Sketch or Cancel in the Confirmation Corner.
• Click Edit > Exit Sketch without Saving Changes .
• When no sketch tool is selected, double-click in the graphics area.
  Not available for 3D sketches.
