Click Render (PhotoWorks toolbar) or PhotoWorks, Render, or select the RenderManager Tab and right-click one of the folders and select Render.
The rendering process starts and the image appears in the SolidWorks graphics area.
Click Render Area (PhotoWorks toolbar) or PhotoWorks, Render Area.
The pointer changes to .
Box-select the portion of the graphics area that you want to render.
The rendering process starts and the image appears in the selected portion of the SolidWorks graphics area.
If you change the model or the display in some manner, click Render Last Area (PhotoWorks toolbar) or PhotoWorks, Render Last to render the same area.
Select an entity such as a face on a part or a component in an assembly, then click Render Selection (PhotoWorks toolbar) or click PhotoWorks, Render Selection.
The rendering process starts and the selected entity appears rendered in the SolidWorks graphics area.
Click PhotoWorks, Page Setup to setup the print job, then click PhotoWorks, Print to complete the print job.
Click Render to File (PhotoWorks toolbar) or click PhotoWorks, Render to File.
The Render to File dialog box appears.
Click PhotoWorks, View Image File.
The Open dialog box appears.
Browse to the desired file and click Open.
The selected file appears in the Image File Viewer dialog box.
The PhotoWorks application renders SolidWorks models with realistic appearances, scenery, lighting, etc. Methods to visualize the rendered images include:
Render the model in the SolidWorks graphics area
Render a portion of the model in the SolidWorks graphics area
Render a selection in the SolidWorks graphics area
Print the rendered model
Render the model to an image file
Display the rendered image file
