PhotoWorks Studio
PhotoWorks Studio allows you to render a model in an existing scene
with lights. You select one of the studios and the scene and lights are
automatically added. The lights and the scene automatically scale to the
size of the model. The floor of the scene positions itself on the bottom
of the model relative to the current view orientation.
Some of the scenes
support High Dynamic Range Imaging
(HDRI).
You can change the quality and brightness of the image without customizing
settings in the Options dialog
box or lighting PropertyManagers. Move the sliders in the PhotoWorks
Studio PropertyManager to change the quality and brightness.
To render a model using PhotoWorks Studio:
Click Appearance
(PhotoWorks toolbar) or PhotoWorks,
Appearance and assign an appearance
to the model.
You do not have to assign
an appearance first. If you previously assigned an appearance in SolidWorks,
that appearance is used. If not, the default PhotoWorks appearance is
assigned.
Click PhotoWorks
Studio (PhotoWorks toolbar) or PhotoWorks,
PhotoWorks Studio.
In the PropertyManager, under Scenery:
Under Scene settings,
move the Render Quality slider
to adjust the quality.
If you click
, the settings in the studio are propagated to the dialog
boxes. For example, environment properties (including Global
shadow control) appear in the Scene
Editor dialog box, and Number
of reflections, Number of refractions,
Indirect illumination, and Anti-aliasing quality are set in the
Options dialog box.
Settings in
dialog boxes are not propagated to PhotoWorks
Studio. For example, if you specify Number
of refractions or Anti-aliasing
quality in the Options
dialog box and open PhotoWorks Studio,
the settings in the dialog box are not reflected in PhotoWorks
Studio.
Click OK to apply the scene.
