Display States in Drawings

Display states are used in assemblies to define different combinations of settings for each component. You can show the display states in a drawing view.

Settings in display states include:

  • Hide/Show
  • Display mode
  • Component color
  • Component texture
  • Component RealView appearance
  • Transparency

You can define multiple display states within each configuration of an assembly. Drawing views of parts can have configurations but not display states.

Set options for display states in drawing view PropertyManagers or in the Drawing View Properties dialog box.
