Scan Data Import Options

When you import a mesh or point cloud file, click Options and set the following:
  Unit Select the unit used. (Default is the last selected value)
Millimeters
Centimeters
Meters
Inches
Feet
  Merge meshes to remove overlaps For mesh files containing multiple meshes, automatically merges meshes and trims overlaps to produce a valid individual mesh. See also .
  Open data into new part Import data into a new part or the active part.
  Import data into currently active part
  Texture files directory For 3D Studio .3ds, .obj, and .wrl files. ScanTo3D automatically imports textures if they are clearly linked to the mesh file. Click Browse and select a location to save the files.
Textures that are not clearly linked are not imported.
