Bend

Use the Bend screen in the Costing Template Editor to define the cost of bending methods based on regular bends or hem bends.

To display this screen:
  • In the Costing Template Editor, click Bend.

    The Bend screen is only available after you enter information in the Material and Thickness screens.

You can copy and paste numerical data in the Costing Template Editor.

Bend Methods

Use this section to define bend methods other than hem bends.

Default Sets the default Bend Method to use for all bends in the model.
Bend Method Sets the name of the bend method.
Setup Cost Sets a setup cost per lot for the bend method. When the Bend Method is used during the Costing calculation, this Setup Cost is added to the Setup FM_folder.gif folder in the CostingManager and it is divided by the lot size to get the setup cost per part.

Hem Methods

Use this section to define hem methods.

Default Sets the default Hem Method to use for all hems in the model.
Hem Method Sets the name of the hem method.
Setup Cost Sets a setup cost per lot for the hem method. When the Hem Method is used during the Costing calculation, this Setup Cost is added to the Setup FM_folder.gif folder in the CostingManager and it is divided by the lot size to get the setup cost per part.

Filters

Displays the rows that match the Class, Custom Material, Thickness, and Bend Method selected.
