Exporting a Workflow

You can export a workflow to make a copy of the workflow in the same or another vault.

Workflow links (links from one workflow to another) are only created in an imported workflow if the linked workflow is also imported.

To export a workflow:

  1. Expand Workflows, then right-click a workflow and select Export.

The Administrative Export window appears. The window shows the workflow you selected and objects on which the workflow depends, such as revision number components, revision numbers, and variables.

You can drag other nodes from the Administration tree into the Administration Export window to export them as well.

  2. To save the export file, click Save or File > Save.
  3. From the Save As dialog box, select a location, type a File name, then click Save.
