Rearranging the Workflow Layout

You can reposition workflow objects (transitions, states, workflow links, arrows) in the workflow editor to better reflect the workflow or to improve readability.

To rearrange the layout, do any any of the following:

  • To move a state, transition, or workflow link, move the mouse pointer over the object so that it highlights and the pointer becomes , then drag the object.

    Arrows automatically move to maintain the connections.

  • To reposition arrows, move the mouse pointer over the arrow segment so that it highlights and the pointer becomes (vertical movement) or (horizontal movement), then drag the arrow.

    Arrow connection points remain intact.

    You can also drag the line vertices, which changes the pointer to .
