Optimization in SolidWorks Simulation

You can:

  • Perform optimization analysis on an assembly.
  • Specify up to 20 dimensions as design variables. You can define Simulation parameters and driving global variables as the design variables.
  • Specify up to 60 criteria for the model to satisfy. You can specify any sensor, excluding workflow-sensitive Simulation sensors, as the constraints.
  • Maximize or minimize any quantity that can be defined as a sensor.
