Routing Component Wizard - Routing Geometry Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add, edit, or delete Routing geometry, such as vertical axes and alignment axes.

Routing geometry is for special features that are used by the route. The features and dimensions must have the exact names as indicated by the wizard. For example, BendRadius@ElbowArc in an elbow determines the bend radius for each configuration of the elbow.

The wizard shows the geometry that is required and optional for each component.
The Component type, which you set in the Select Component Type dialog box, sets the type of component and determines the required features, so it is important that you select the correct component type.
To display this dialog box, do one of the following:
  • Click Tools > Routing > Routing Tools > Routing Library Manager , and click Routing Component Wizard .
  • From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS version Routing Library Manager > Routing Component Wizard .
