Routing Component Wizard - Routing Functionality Points Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to view existing Connection Points (CPoints) and Route Points (RPoints) on the component and to determine if you need to add any points.

To display this dialog box, do one of the following:
  • Click Tools > Routing > Routing Tools > Routing Library Manager , and click Routing Component Wizard .
  • From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS version Routing Library Manager > Routing Component Wizard .

Required and Optional Points

You must add required points.

Add Lets you add CPoints or RPoints to the component.
Edit Lets you edit the geometry of CPoints or RPoints.
Delete Lets you delete CPoints or RPoints.

CPoint configuration

Add all CPoints Generates stubs from all CPoints when you place the part in a route.
Do not connect CPoint Does not generate stubs from any CPoints when you place the part in a route.
Select CPoints Lets you indicate which CPoints should generate stubs when you place the part in a route.
