Hole Filters

Use the Nonplated Hole Filters and Plated Hole Filters panels to filter out holes by their size or type.

Plated holes are holes in the circuit board that are coated with electrically conductive material and are generally used for component mounting. Nonplated holes are not coated with conductive material and are typically used for mounting mechanical rather than electrical components (for example, mounting a circuit board to an enclosure).

To open the Nonplated Hole Filters or Plated Hole Filters panel:

Click the Tools tab, then click Nonplated Holes or Plated Holes in the Filter area of the Tools toolbar.
