Document Properties - Drawing Sheets

To open this page:

With a drawing open, click Options (Standard toolbar), select the Document Properties tab, and then select Drawing Sheets.

Options

Sheet format for new sheets Use different sheet format Lets you specify a default sheet format when new sheets are added to drawing documents.
Zones Origin Select zone origin:

Upper Left

Letters and numbers start at upper left of drawing sheet.

Lower Left

Letters and numbers start at lower left of drawing sheet.

Upper Right

Letters and numbers start at upper right of drawing sheet.

Lower Right

Letters and numbers start at lower right of drawing sheet.

  Letter Layout Select orientation for letters:

Column

Letters align horizontally from origin across the drawing sheet.

Row

Letters align vertically from origin on the side of the drawing sheet.

  List number first in Zone callout Select to place zone number first in callouts.

Selected

Examples: 1A, 3B, or 4C

Cleared

Examples: A1, B3, or C4

  Continue column iteration across sheets Select to continue the horizontal identification across all drawing sheets. For example, when selected, if the last zone on sheet 1 is D, then the first zone on sheet 2 is E. If cleared, the horizontal identification restarts for each sheet.
