Creating Multiple Reference Points Along Curves

To create multiple reference points along a curve:

  1. In a model with a curve, click Point on the Reference Geometry toolbar, or click Insert > Reference Geometry > Point.
  2. In the PropertyManager:
    • Select Along curve distance or multiple reference point PM_Point_AlongCurve.gif.
    • Select a curve along which you want to create the reference points.
    • Select a distribution type: Distance, Percentage, or Evenly Distribute.
    • Set values for Enter the number of reference points to be created along the selected entity PM_number of_instances_ln.gif and for Enter the distance/percentage value according to distance.
  3. Click PM_OK.gif.
