Revision Table

On the VaultAdmin Revision Table tab, enable the SOLIDWORKS Workgroup PDM revision scheme to control revisions in SOLIDWORKS drawings. Define the revisions scheme on the VaultAdmin Revision Scheme tab.

  • When revision tables are enabled in Workgroup PDM, the SOLIDWORKS Alpha/Numerical Control options are not available for Revision Table in Tools > Options > Document Properties > Tables . A message, Revision driven from Workgroup PDM appears in the SOLIDWORKS Tables Options dialog box.
  • If revision tables are enabled in SOLIDWORKS Workgroup PDM, and a drawing includes a revision table, then the table is updated automatically upon check-in to the vault.
  • When users check in drawings, the Check In Document dialog box displays the revision in the table, and the drawing is updated with the current revision information.
