File View

The file view in Windows Explorer lists assemblies and components of the vault documents and their references in the upper section of the right pane. You can use the file view to access the explorer view tabs, such as Preview, Data Card, or Bill of Materials.

To display details in the file view:

Select Views , Details, or View, Details.

You can access the file view from any View menu option other than Bill of Materials.

Search 'File View' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
