Loads and Result Options for Dynamic Analysis

Loads

  • Modal Time History Analysis

  1. Time-varying force and pressure

  2. Initial conditions defined as a finite acceleration, velocity or displacement at time t =0

  3. Uniform and selected base excitation defined as time-varying acceleration, velocity or displacement

  • Harmonic Analysis

  1. Peak amplitudes of force and pressure versus frequency

  2. Uniform and selected base excitation defined as peak amplitudes of acceleration, velocity or displacement versus frequency.

  • Random Vibration Analysis

  1. Power spectral density (psd) curves of force and pressure

  2. Uniform and selected base excitation defined as psd of acceleration, velocity or displacement

Result Options

    1. Contour plots of displacements, accelerations, velocities, stresses, strains for a specified solution step, or extreme values across all solution steps.

    2. Response graphs of displacement, velocities, and acceleration at specified locations. For random vibrations, you can plot rms values for the whole frequency range or psd versus frequency.

    3. Listing displacements, accelerations, velocities, stresses, strains, and reaction forces.
