To see an example of DXF or DWG file import errors and
warnings:
Open a DXF or DWG file that contains entities
that cause import errors.
In the DXF/DWG Import Wizard, click Finish.
The translator imports the file into SolidWorks.
Because the file contains entities that cause import errors, the Summary of DXF/DWG Import Errors and Warnings
dialog box appears with the relevant error messages listed in summary
format.
Click any
of the following:
Open Report. Generates an *.err

in the same directory as the DXF file and contains the same information
shown as Details.

Report.

errors.
