Name and Location Tab

Use the Name and Location tab to search for files or folders based on their names and locations.

Look in Searches in the vault, file, or folder you specify or Browse to.
Name

Searches based on the text you enter.

You can type partial names or use wildcards (* or ?).

If Name is empty, finds all files and folders in the Look in field.
You can type multiple search values separated by spaces or commas. For example, the search criteria fax.doc, frame*dep.pdf *frame.slddrw finds all files ending with fax.doc, PDF files that contain the words frame and dep, and all SLDDRW files ending with frame.slddrw.
Description Searches for matches in data card description fields. Your administrator can customize Description to match specific fields.
Number Searches for matches in data card number fields. Your administrator can customize Number to match specific fields.
Include subfolders Searches subfolders recursively.
Display files Searches for files.
Display folders Searches for folders.
Search in all versions Searches previous versions as well as the current version.
