Properties of Features,
Faces, and Bodies
Feature properties include the feature's name and the capability
to suppress
(and then unsuppress) the feature if it is used in multiple configurations.
Suppressing temporarily removes the feature from the model, without deleting
it. This can be used to simplify the model, or to create part
configurations.
The Appearances command displays the colors of faces, features, bodies, and
the part and is a shortcut to editing appearances. You can see the hierarchy
of colors by expanding the command. Color selections made in the Appearances
PropertyManager supersede colors set on the Document Properties tab.
