Insert Block
Insert blocks, adding additional instances of existing blocks, or browse
to and insert previously saved blocks.
To insert a block:
In the Edit Sketch
mode, click Insert Block
(Block toolbar) or Tools,
Blocks, Insert.
In the PropertyManager, under Blocks
to Insert, you can either:
Add any relations required to ensure that movement
is correctly constrained.
In the PropertyManager, under Parameters,
set values for:
Click
.
When you make a block, you have the
option to specify an insertion point. When inserting a block into a document,
insertion points:
Add a manipulator by which you can drag the block.
Act as the rotation and scaling point.
Enable you to add relations between the manipulator
and the sketch entity.
To set an insertion
point:
Create a sketch.
Click Make
Block
(Block toolbar) or Tools,
Blocks, Make.

Click Insertion point to
display the insertion point manipulator
, and drag the
manipulator to the sketch entity and position required.
With sketch snaps,
you can position the insertion point manipulator to any inferenced sketch
entity.
