Locking Files (Web Client)

Locking a file prevents others from uploading new versions, and gives you exclusive access.

  1. Click to select one or more files.

    You can use Shift and Ctrl to select multiple files.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click File Options > Lock .
      This option is not available when multiple items are selected.
    • Click Select Action > Lock.

    Locking a file within a workspace will lock the file in all workspaces and your library.

    The lock status icon changes to Locked icon.
