Opening a File in Tree View

You can open a SolidWorks file in Tree View from any workspace or My n!Fuze Library.

  1. From any workspace, Shift-click to select the file you want to open in Tree View.

    Tree View can only be used when a single file is selected. The command will not be available when multiple files are selected.

  2. Do one of the following from any workspace:
    • Shift-click a file, then click Action button.
    • Move the mouse pointer over a file, then click Menu button.
    • Right-click a file.

    A menu opens.

  3. Click one of the following:
    • Tree View > Where Used —Opens the file in Where Used view.
    • Tree View > References—Opens the file in References view.

    The selected file opens in Tree View with the selected view active.
