Transforming the Placement Sketch

You can choose how to display forming tools in flat patterns.

  1. In cover.sldprt, in the FeatureManager design tree, right-click extruded hole1(Default) and click Edit Feature menu_Edit_Feature.gif.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Flat Pattern Visibility:
    1. Select Override document settings and Show profile.
    2. Clear any other options.
    3. Click PM_OK.gif.
  3. In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click Flat-Pattern1 FM_flat_pattern_suppressed.gif and click Unsuppress menu_Unsuppress.gif.

    The forming tool's profile (placement sketch) appears in the flattened part.

  4. Right-click Flat-Pattern1 FM_Flat-Pattern.gif and click Suppress menu_Suppress.gif.
  5. Keep this part open for the next procedure.
