Assigning Search Shortcuts to Commands

To assign a search shortcut to a command:

  1. Click Tools > Customize, and select the Keyboard tab.
  2. Navigate to the command to which you want to assign a search shortcut.

    See SolidWorks Help: Customize Keyboard.

  3. In the Search Shortcut column for the command, type the shortcut you want to use, then click OK.
