• Add Users Dialog Box
  

  Use the Add Users dialog box to add user accounts to a vault. These can be new users or user accounts already created for other vaults.

  Use the Assigned Folder Permissions tab of the Folder Permissions dialog box to view and assign folder permissions for the user. You can also use the Permissions per Folder tab for the same purpose.

  Use the State Permissions page to assign state permissions for the user. You can also use the workflow editor to assign these permissions.

  Use the Transition Permissions page to assign the transition permissions between workflow states for the user. You can also use the workflow editor to assign these permissions.

  When this user creates files, the settings on the Permissions per File page control which other users are able to see them.

  Use the Search Cards page to set the user's access to the vault search cards.

  Use the Bills of Materials page to set the user's access to BOMs defined for the vault.

  Use the Tasks page to set the user's access to tasks.

  Use the Templates page to set the user's access to vault templates.

• User Properties - Warnings
  

  Use the Warnings page to specify conditions that will block check in, check out, change state, and increment revision operations.

  Use the Cache Options per Folder tab of the Cache Options page to control how the Enterprise PDM software clears or refreshes the local caches of users for designated folders. You can also use the Assigned Cache Options tab to view and modify cache options.

  Use the Assigned Cache Options tab of the Cache Options page to view and assign cache options for group members. You can also use the Cache Options per Folder tab for the same purpose.

• User Properties - Copy Tree Exclude Folders
  

  Use the Exclude Folders tab of the Properties page to exclude users from copying files from selected folders. This prevents standard part libraries and other common components from being copied mistakenly.

  Use the Excluded Folders tab of the Properties page to view the excluded folders for users.

• New User Dialog Box
  

  Use the New User dialog box to specify the login name for a new user.

• New User Dialog Box (Windows Login)
  

  Use the New User dialog box to specify the name of a new user when the login method for the vault is Windows login.

• Change Password Dialog Box
  

  Use the Change Password dialog box to change the user's login password.

• Select Vault Folder Dialog Box
  

  Use the Select Vault Folder dialog box to specify a folder to which a user or group has access.

• Permission Assignments Dialog Box
  

  Use the Permission Assignments dialog box to see the users and groups that have been given permission to specific folders in the vault.
