Creating User Accounts for the Enterprise PDM Login Type

If the archive server is set up to use Enterprise PDM login, the archive server that hosts the vault manages the user names and passwords.

To create a user account for the Enterprise PDM login type:

  1. Right-click Users and select New User.
  2. In the Add User dialog box:
    • If the user account is listed, select it.

User accounts are listed if they have already been added to another vault on the same archive server but have not been added to the vault you are managing.

    • If the user account is not listed, click New User.
  3. In the New User dialog box, enter the user's login name and click OK.
  4. In the Add Users dialog box, type the user's:
    1. Full name
    2. Initials

    4. Password and password confirmation
    5. Additional information about the user
  5. To add accounts for other listed users, select them.
