File View Shortcut Menu

In the file view background, right-click in the blank area outside any file name or icon to access the file view shortcut menu.

View Configures the file view and preview display areas:

Show preview tabs

Displays or hides the Enterprise PDM tabs at the bottom of the right pane.

Split Preview Tab

Divides the Preview tab Horizontally or Vertically.

Preview Placement

Places the Explorer tabs To the Right or At the Bottom of the file list.

Sets the view option for files and folders:
  • Thumbnails
  • Tiles
  • Large Icons
  • Small Icons
  • List
  • Details
Sort By
  • By Name
  • By Owner
  • By Size
  • By State
  • By Modified
  • By Check Out Path
Refresh Refreshes the Explorer view (F5).
Paste Pastes copied files or folders to the current folder.

The copied files are checked out to you and are not available to other users until you check them in.

Paste shared Pastes copied files or folders into the current folder to create shared instances.
New Lists the possible file types to create and the installed templates you can access.
Properties Opens the Properties dialog box for the current folder.
