To create a section view of the active plot:
		 
- In the Simulation study tree, right-click the active plot icon and select Section Clipping   or click Plot Tools or click Plot Tools (Simulation CommandManager) and select Section Clipping. (Simulation CommandManager) and select Section Clipping.The Section PropertyManager appears.
 
- Under Section 1, click Plane  , Cylinder , Cylinder , or Sphere , or Sphere . .
- In the graphics area, click a reference entity (reference point, axis, or plane) compatible with the section type you selected in step 2.
- If necessary, click Reverse Clipping Direction   to change the direction of the cut to the opposite side. to change the direction of the cut to the opposite side.

Change the values of the Distance  , Rotation X , Rotation X , Rotation Y , Rotation Y , and Radius , and Radius (available for cylindrical and spherical sections only) parameters as desired. Optionally, drag the handles (available for cylindrical and spherical sections only) parameters as desired. Optionally, drag the handles in the graphics area. in the graphics area.
- To create additional section views, select Section 2 and Section 3, then repeat step 2 through step 5. You can use the same planes to create additional section views.
Section 3 is unavailable until Section 2 is selected. 
- Under Options, you can do the following:
- Click Union   to plot the results on the areas of all defined sections or click Intersection to plot the results on the areas of all defined sections or click Intersection to plot the results on the common area of intersection of all defined sections. to plot the results on the common area of intersection of all defined sections.
- Select/clear Show section plane.
- Select/clear Plot on section only as necessary.
- Select/clear Show contour on the uncut portion of the model.
- Select/clear Explode after clipping.
- Click Reset to reset the plot to its initial state.
- Click   to turn the clipping of the current plot on or off. to turn the clipping of the current plot on or off.
