About the Enhanced Preview Icon

The enhanced preview icon ( or )appears next to a file name on the Preview page. This icon lets you view an interactive preview in a separate browser window.

appears next to a file name if:
  • The file is of the type that SOLIDWORKS eDrawings can open.
  • You use Microsoft Internet Explorer as a browser.
You can download and interactively view the supported files on an iOS device that has eDrawings installed.

appears next to a file name if the file is convertible to PDF. If you use a browser that supports PDF file viewing and click this icon, the file opens in a separate browser window.
