Preview Page

The Preview page displays a bitmap preview for a SOLIDWORKS file and an html preview for a non-CAD file type or a Microsoft Office document.

To display the Preview page, do one of the following in the file list:

  • Double-click a file name.
  • Hover over a file name, expand the arrow, and select Preview.

1 Action Buttons File and Change State options on the Preview page function similar to the options on the file or folder list page.

2 File link and enhanced preview icon Click a file link to download a file.

The eDrawings icon, , appears if a file is of the type that SOLIDWORKS eDrawings can open and you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

The PDF icon, , appears if a file is in a PDF convertible format.

3 File information Shows the file location, check in or check out status, workflow, and the current state.
