Quick Access Toolbar

Use the Quick Access toolbar to access the CircuitWorks commands you use most.

The default Quick Access toolbar contains:

Customize the Quick Access toolbar to include the commands you access most.

To customize the Quick Access toolbar:

  1. Click to the right of the Quick Access toolbar and select Customize Quick Access Toolbar.
    The Customize Quick Access Toolbar dialog box appears.
  2. To add a command to the toolbar:
    1. Under Choose commands from, select the type of command you want to add to the toolbar.
    2. Click a command from the list in the left panel.
    3. Click Add >>.
      The command moves from the left panel to the right panel.
      You can also add a command to the toolbar by right-clicking the command (such as Build Model from the Tools toolbar) and selecting Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
  3. To remove a command from the toolbar:
    1. From the list of commands in the right panel, select the command to remove.
    2. Click Remove.
  4. To change the location of the toolbar, select or clear Place Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon.
  5. Click OK.

Moving the Quick Access Toolbar

You can place the Quick Access toolbar above or below the main toolbar (ribbon).

To move the Quick Access toolbar:

Click to the right of the Quick Access toolbar and select Place Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon.
If the Quick Access toolbar is already located below the ribbon, then this command is Place Quick Access Toolbar above the Ribbon.
