Conics

The Conic Tool_Conic_Sketch.png tool lets you sketch conic curves driven by endpoints and Rho value. Depending on the Rho value, the curve can be elliptical, parabolic, or hyperbolic.

Conic curves can reference existing sketch or model geometry, or they can be standalone entities. You can dimension the curve with a driving dimension, and the resulting dimension displays the Rho value. The conic entity also includes a value for the radius of curvature.
